Hwy. 98 fatality: Pitts was a ‘sweet’ and ‘humble’ ‘gentle giant’

Standing well over six feet tall and with a large frame to match, Tyler Pitts could be an imposing figure. But his large stature belied his sweet, humble nature.

“He was a gentle giant. He never had a bad word for anyone and had a big heart,” family members said. “He was just lovable, so sweet and willing to help anyone.”
