Commission rolls back COVID restrictions for sports complex

Although capacity limits will remain in place at most county government buildings — including the Taylor County Courthouse and public library, due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns — the county commission has rolled back other restrictions at the Taylor County Sports Complex and at county-owned Community centers.

Most county facilities closed early into the COVID-19 outbreak in Spring 2020, with many county offices not reopening until October, and only then with strict capacity limits based on the square footage of the lobbies and other public areas.
