A portion of Center Street near downtown Perry could remain closed for up to several months to assess and repair an “extremely dangerous” erosion problem impacting the roadway and a nearby Rosehead Park walking trail.
Describing the issue as a “very complex problem,” City Manager Taylor Brown warned city council members that identifying and solving the problem would “not be a quick fix” and will likely be expensive.
