Shoaf, Ausley hear local wish list

Protecting access to Hickory Mound, preserving historic war memorials, upgrades to Taylor County public buildings, speeding up COVID-19 vaccinations and funding for online virtual school classrooms were just some of the requests heard by elected state officials visiting Taylor County last week.

Taylor County’s representatives in the Florida Legislature were in Perry last Friday for their annual delegation meeting with local elected officials and the public.
