Ashley Lynn Soroka, 31, entered Heaven’s gate on Dec. 30, 2020, in Perry after a brief illness.
Ashley was born Feb. 6, 1989, in Monongahela, Pa., to Nick Soroka and Angela Metz Winchester.
She was of the Christian faith and attended Friendship Baptist Church.
Ashley graduated from Taylor County High School in 2007, and was a longtime participant in the SNAP program. She also participated in Special Olympics for several years.
Ashley liked to crochet, coloring and spending time with her neighbor as well as her niece and nephews.
She is survived by: her mother, Angie Winchester, and step-father, Buddy; her siblings, LeAnn Soroka, Justin Soroka, Anthony Winchester and Levi Winchester; her maternal grandparents, Delphia and John Ables; her uncle, Mike Metz; aunt, Darlene Cathers, and uncle, Tim, and aunt, Lori Shrader and uncle, Brian; her niece, Kenzley; and two nephews, Hagen and Keaton.
A celebration of Ashley’s life will be held at a later date. Those who wish may assist the family with final expenses by making donations to the funeral home or directly to family.
