    Robert Bradley “Brad” Cruce

    Mr. Robert Bradley “Brad” Cruce, 42, passed away on Jan. 7, 2021, at his home in Perry.

    He was born June 7, 1978, in Tallahassee to Mr. Jerry Cruce and Shelly Edwards Cruce.

    Brad was a lifelong resident of Taylor County, graduating from Taylor County High School where he played football and soccer and was a member of the Key Club.

    Brad went on to pursue a career at Big Bend Marine as a Master Rigger and Yamaha Outboard Motor Mechanic for more than 20 years. The last couple of years he was furthering his career at General Dynamics.

    He was an avid outdoorsman. When he wasn’t working, you could find him in the woods or on the water.

    Brad loved spending time with family and friends, grilling some of the best food you ever tasted. Brad’s children were his world; if you saw Brad, you saw his kids.

    Brad was preceded in death by: his sister, Brandy Cruce; and his grandparents, David and Nellie Cruce, and Shelton and Jean Edwards.

    He is survived by: his wife, Erica Rommes Cruce; children, Titan Bradley Cruce, Robert Stelan Cruce, Bryson Cam Fowler, Miranda Lynn Cruce and Brantley David Cruce, his sister, Angie and her husband, Harper Gibson; his parents, Jerry and Shelly Cruce; nephew, Levi Gibson; and niece, Lorelai Gibson.

    Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 10, at 4 p.m. at Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship with Brother  Eddie Pridgeon and Brother Gary French officiating. Interment services followed in Carlton Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
