Beach Road crash

A woman was airlifted to an area hospital after crashing her vehicle head-on into a tree off Beach Road Monday. The crash happened on the final curve before approaching Keaton Beach around 1 p.m.

The truck clipped a number of smaller trees before slamming head-on into the larger tree, which was snapped in half at the base.
