Claudette Joe Martin

Claudette Joe Martin, 86, passed away on Jan. 15, 2021, in Tallahassee.

She was born June 18, 1934, in Perry to Ernest Callicott and Elizabeth Thackerson Callicott.

Claudette was a Baptist and was a member of Lanark Community Church.

She in the wood procurement accounting department with Proctor & Gamble for more than 35 years.

She loved the Carrabelle beach area, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for the Lord that carried her through her many trials in life.

Claudette was preceded in death by: her parents, Ernest Callicott and Elizabeth Thackerson Callicott; her husband, Billy Martin; her sons, Ernie and Joey Martin; and her sister, Betty Dale Hendry.

She is survived by: her son, Bry and his wife, Denise Martin; her daughter, Gina and her husband, Dick Jarvis; three grandchildren, Katy Curry, and her husband, Brian, Joey Jarvis and his fiancée, Jenna, and Bryttany Clark and her husband, Bishop; and four great-grandchildren, Ava Curry, Reid Curry, Malloy Clark and Jake Curry.

Graveside services were held on Monday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with Brother Gary Brett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lanark Community Church, 171 Lanark Village Fl. 32323.
