New report looks at who goes fishing off Taylor’s coast and what they are targeting

Georgia anglers are the most frequent visitors casting a line in Taylor County waters, according to a newly-released report on saltwater fishing in Taylor County, and spotted seatrout is the top target for both locals and out-of-county anglers.

The recently-released “Angler Travel and Targeting Report 2020: Taylor County” report documents angler survey results from the past decade to better identify where many anglers travel from, as well as what specific species they are seeking to catch.
