While the death of Sam Little – branded the nation’s most prolific serial killer by the FBI – in late December was not completely unexpected, local investigators reserved their sympathies for the families of his victims… both known and unknown.
“I feel sorry for the families who were not able to see him go to trial and get closure,” Perry Police Department (PPD) Inv. Ray Kellerman said. “And also for the families who will (now) never know what happened to their loved ones, especially the parents who have lost their children.”
