Jill Elaine Barger

Mrs. Jill Elaine Barger, 65, passed away on Jan. 25, 2021.

She was born Feb. 22, 1955 , in Valdosta, Ga., to Robert Clyde Barger and Mary William Garner Barger.

Jill was an active member of Blue Creek Baptist Church in Steinhatchee.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had many talents, she was very creative. With plants, she had a green thumb; she was a true artist that loved to paint. She loved to read devotionals and going to bible studies.

Jill was preceded in death by: her parents, Clyde and Mary Barger; her son, Chad Brown; and one sister, Betty Livingston.

She is survived by: one son, Heath Brown; five grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Haley Odiorne, Hannah Holden, Hunter Brown and Destin Brown; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bobby and Jack Barger; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at Blue Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Davie Beigle officiating.

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
