Drone training at Perry-Foley

This past week, the Perry-Foley Airport participated in a pilot program undertaken by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to test the usefulness of unmanned drones in determining obstructions to airport runways.

Last week, the Taylor County Commission voted unanimously to allow the FAA program to conduct the tests at the local airport.
