Iron Horse to close?

The owners of Iron Horse Mud Ranch say they will close down the popular local off-road park because of a county ordinance that allows a single neighbor to withhold permission to allow mud bog events that draw thousands of visitors to Taylor County twice each year.

Todd and Kari Larson made the announcement just hours after the county commission voted to approve a special events permit for two 2021 mud bogs – if Iron Horse Mud Ranch can receive a waiver from one of its neighboring property owners.
