Mud bog gets stuck in county ordinance

The fate of the annual Iron Horse Mud Ranch “Dysfunctional Family Reunion” offroad event scheduled for early March remains muddy and unclear, after the Taylor County Commission agreed to approve the event’s permit — but only if the owners can obtain a waiver from a neighboring property owner.

During Monday night’s county meeting, Iron Horse Mud Ranch co-owner Kari Larson told commissioners their attorney has been unable to reach an agreement with the attorney representing neighbor and former Iron Horse employee Henry Lee and his wife, Sandra Laura Tyler Lee.
