Bridge dedication sought for World War II POW Clark

The Taylor County Commission is petitioning the Florida Legislature to name the Fenholloway River bridge on U.S. Hwy. 27 East in honor of World War II veteran and prisoner of war (POW) U.S. Army Private Tillman R. Clark.

The commission unanimously approved a resolution supporting the dedication and sent it to Taylor County’s legislative delegation — Rep. Jason Shoaf and Sen. Loranne Ausley — and the Florida Department of Transportation.
