The Taylor County Commission has agreed to provide up to $10,000 of its CARES Act funding to the Florida Department of Health in Taylor County (DOH-Taylor) to provide personnel to man local vaccine telephone lines.
Officials hope that this will help DOH-Taylor handle the volume of calls it is receiving until the recently-announced statewide registration system is up and running and serving Taylor County.
