Chamber Banquet is set for April 23

The Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce is moving forward with plans to host its annual Chamber Banquet, pushing the date back from its traditional February slot to April 23.

“Our special annual fundraiser event, which benefits the Chamber Scholarship Program for Big Bend Technical College students, will be a 50/50 ticket for $50 with the winner going home with half the proceeds. Our theme is ‘There’s No Place Like Home!’,” Chamber Director Dawn Perez said.

Social hour will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., an awards presentation and after-party.

“Our emcee and Master of Ceremonies, Cline Moore, will keep the night moving along with his quick wit, energy and enthusiasm. Thank you to Capital City Bank of Perry for being the sponsor of this event. If you already purchased tickets, no worries, they will transfer to the new date.
