Planning begins on Keaton, Steinhatchee dredging

The planning and design phase of the canal dredging projects for Keaton Beach and the Steinhatchee boat ramp basin is officially underway.

In June 2020, the county received its first RESTORE Act grant in the amount of $148,500 to cover the projected cost of the planning and design of the two dredging projects.
