Those who want to get back behind the wheel of a vehicle after a one-year suspension or expiration period will now be required to take and pass the written portion of the exam before being issued a Class E driver’s license.
Previously, those wanting to have their licenses reinstated simply paid a fee and did not have to complete the written exam.
