A little over seven months after temporarily idling two of three production lines and cutting its workforce by 30%, the local Georgia-Pacific (GP) Foley Cellulose Mill has returned to full operation and re-filled some 70 positions.
“We are very pleased to share that we re-started #2 mill and sent sheet to reel on Tuesday last week,” GP Public Affairs Manager Scott Mixon said.
