Student in ICU after ATV crash

A 15-year-old Taylor County High School (TCHS) student remains in ICU following an ATV crash that happened during the early-morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 28, off Potts-Still Road.

Sophomore Anthony Brooks is breathing on his own after being removed from a ventilator Tuesday. Doctors had initially placed him in a medically-induced coma due to the head trauma he sustained in the crash, but have since reduced the sedation.
