Schools to crack down on vaping, school bus fights

Students who are caught with electronic vaping devices or involved in a physical altercation on a school bus will now be recommended for expulsion, under a new policy put in place by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr.

After receiving a Feb. 24 order handed down directly from Glover, principals and site administrators at each school distributed the new policy to students and parents this week, stating it would take effect immediately for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
