Marguerite Louise Ellison

Marguerite Louise Ellison was born on Aug. 13,1962, in Perry to Robert Ellison Jr. and Lorraine O’Neal Ellison.

She died Feb. 27, 2021.

Margie was highly educated, acquiring three different associate degrees in college. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and watching sunsets.

She was an avid music lover always playing a wide variety of music wherever she was. She also loved her family and dogs and could always make you smile. Marguerite was preceded in death by: her father, Richard Ellison Jr.; mother, Lorraine O’Neal Ellison; her grandfather, Richard Ellison Sr.; and grandmother, Marguerite Louise Ellison, all of which were from Perry.

She is survived by: her three daughters, Daphne Clara Mae Murray, Samantha Denise Rosetta Ponnequin and Tiffany Dawn Cheri Schofill; four grandchildren, Jordon Edward Gibson, Sierra Dawn Cheri Schofill, Zoie Denise Gibson and Austin Gage Murray; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Evelyn Gibson and Jordon Alexander Gibson; sister, Victoria McCormick of Manchester, Tenn.; two nephews, Dustin McCormick and Justin McCormick; and great-niece, Madalynn McCormick.

Marguerite’s life partner was Russell Cruse of Perry and she had three sons and three grandchildren with him. A celebration of life will be held in June when all of her children can be present. A date will be announced as soon as one has been set.
