CARES Act funding available

Individuals and small businesses who applied for local coronavirus (COVID-19) financial relief and were turned down last fall can re-apply for assistance beginning next week, now with expanded eligibility criteria expected to allow many who were previously denied a chance to receive help this time.

The early application period opens Monday, March 8, for the two programs, which each have $450,000 in available funding. The application period for everyone else will begin Monday, March 15, including individuals and small businesses who received financial assistance last year through the local programs.
