Terry Shawn Floyd

Terry Shawn Floyd, 45, went to be with Jesus on Friday, March 5, 2021.

Shawn was born to Terry and Joni Diane Floyd on Dec. 20, 1975.

He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a loyal servant in his community, serving with outreach projects.

He was a committed leader in his family and his church, First Assembly of God.

A graduate of Taylor County High School, Shawn spent most of his career working in the auto parts business in Perry.

He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Terry Floyd, and a daughter, Kayla Beatrice Floyd.

He is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Floyd; son, Dillon Floyd; daughters, Amanda Floyd and Gracie Floyd; sister, Niki (Bryant) Imbrey of Cape Coral; mother, Diane Floyd; and mother-in-law, Cathy Farmer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of life services were held Sunday, March 7, at First Assembly of God Church.
