Daphine Faye Shotton

Daphine Faye Shotton, 71, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021, in Perry.

She was born June 27, 1949, in Madison to Martice and Mildred Crain Fulford.

Daphine was a Baptist and a member of New Home Baptist Church. She was a devout “prayer warrior” for those she loved.

She loved to paint and read in her spare time, and had deep thirst for knowledge. She also had a heart for animals, from the exotic to her beloved dogs and cats.

Daphine was preceded in death by her parents, Martice Fulford and Mildred Crain Fulford, and her older brother, Danny, his wife and child.

She is survived by: her husband of 42 years, Neil Shotton; her brother, Ronnie Fulford and his wife Mildred; nephew, Eric (Michelle) Fulford; niece, Angie (Phil) Castelucci; and a host of her beloved animals.

Private services will be held at a later date.
