Boys tennis sweeps Madison; girls win five of nine

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) boys and girls tennis squads had their best outings of the season last Thursday, as the Bulldogs swept Madison County 7-0 and the Lady Bulldogs managed to win five of their nine matches.

On the boys’ side of the net, Jordan Tyler won his match 8-4, while Irving Azarte won his singles’ match 8-5, and Carson Gray dominated his opponent, 8-2. Ja’kovie Island and Tyler Chaney both swept their opponents by 8-0 scores in their singles matches.
