    ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
    Sealed Bids for the construction of the Julia Street Roadway Improvements Project will be received by the City of Perry, at the Perry City Hall, 224 S Jefferson Street, Perry, FL 32347, until 1:00 PM local time on May 4, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of:
    Roadway improvements including milling and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, and guardrail replacement in Perry, Florida. All Work shall be in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
    Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.
    The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Katrina Duckworth’s Office at Perry City Hall, 224 S Jefferson Street, Perry, FL 32347 – (850) 584-2189. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00am & 4:00pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
    Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. The cost per set of contract documents is $50 and is non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to the “City of Perry”. Alternatively, Bidding Documents are available electronically at no cost upon request. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
    A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on April 22, 2021 at the Perry City Hall, 224 S Jefferson Street, Perry, FL 32347. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
    Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
    Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.

    The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals for construction of the Gas Plant Road Widening/Resurfacing.
    Qualified firms or individuals desiring to provide the required products or services must submit five (5) packages in a sealed envelope or similar package marked “Sealed Proposal for Gas Plant Road Widening/Resurfacing” to the Clerk of Court, 1st Floor Courthouse, 108 North Jefferson Street, Suite 102, Perry, Florida 32347, to arrive no later than 4:00 P.M., local time, on April 30, 2021. All Proposals MUST have the respondent’s name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted. Proposals will be opened and respondents announced at 6:xx P.M. local time, or as soon thereafter as practical, on May 3, 2021, in the Taylor County Administrative Complex, 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347.
