AARP Tax-Aide has just three days remaining for free tax aid.
The free tax aide will only be available on Saturday, March 27, from 10-2 p.m., as well as Monday, March 29, and Monday, April 12, from 9-5 p.m.
The low-contact service will be provided at the Taylor County Extension Office. Face masks are required, and a six-foot distance must be maintained between each visitor.
Only the taxpayer or the taxpayer and his/her spouse will be allowed to sit with the tax-aid volunteer.
All others must stay in their vehicle.
All taxpayers must have a Social Security card, a photo ID and a phone with a working number where we can contact you or we will not be able to file your taxes.
Once your taxes are ready to be filed, you will receive a call and given a date and time when to come back to review and sign forms to allow AARP Tax-Aide to file your tax return.
The local coordinator is Belinda Wright.
