County may sell 2 Keaton lots

The Taylor County Commission is considering selling one or more publicly-owned lots at Keaton Beach in an effort to return the property to the tax rolls.

The commission has discussed the small county-owned parcels several times over the past few months, and at its March 16 meeting, the board voted 4-0 to move forward with securing quotes to conduct surveys and title searches on the parcels.
