Author to speak at library Sept. 30

Author Ashton Lee will be the featured guest at the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library program on Monday, Sept. 30.

Lee is the author of “The Cherry Cola Book Club,” a novel about a Southern town with a flavorful plan to save its “precious, but woefully underfunded” library.

The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the community is invited to attend.
