The Florida Bar has suspended former Third Judicial Circuit State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister’s license to practice law for an indefinite period, even as he continues to be held in custody in Arizona awaiting his transfer to Florida to face multiple federal felony charges.
At the same time, his former wife, Jamie Dykes, remains in talks with the U.S. Attorney’s Office regarding her claim to their 70-acre farm in Live Oak, which the government is seeking to seize as part of a fraud case brought against Siegmeister.
