TCMS track earns first state qualifier with Woodruff’s performance in the triple jump

The Taylor County Middle School (TCMS) boys’ track squad picked up its first state qualifier of the season, as Austin Woodruff jumped a distance of 9.85 meters in the triple jump at the Wakulla County Track and Field Conference Championship last week.

Woodruff finished in fifth place overall in the event, while he also placed 12th in the 100 meters, sixth in the 400 meters and 11th in the shot put.
