Ready for bluegrass?

Mickey Abraham (left) of the Suncoast Emmy Award-winning “Belle and The Band” brought his mandolin to Perry on Tuesday, giving Rotary Club members a preview of some of the bluegrass music in store for those who attend this weekend’s Florida State Bluegrass Festival at Forest Capital Hall.

Abraham has been attending the local event for the last 20 years and mentored local students Anna Kallschmidt and Taylor Chaffin. Rotarian Dan Simmons (right) joined Abraham for brief “picking” session.
