Center St. open for traffic

Downtown Perry motorists celebrated the re-opening of Center Street Tuesday, as the City of Perry announced the bridge adjacent to Rosehead Park was deemed safe to handle traffic based on preliminary results from geotechnical consultants hired to diagnose the cause and extent of erosion problems at Rosehead Park.

City staff will conduct daily monitoring of the roadway surface and provide a more detailed update once the full report of the geotechnical analysis is received.
