McGuire places 1st in javelin at district meet

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) track team entered the FHSAA Region 2 District 2 Track and Field Meet held Tuesday, April 13, riding the personal records set a week before and hoping to qualify for regionals by placing in the top four of their respective events.

Macie McGuire placed first in the javelin throw at the district meet and will be Taylor’s lone representative at regionals, which will be held May 1 in Panama City.
