Tensions are likely to be running high on both sides of the podium Thursday night when the Perry City Council meets to consider a number of issues that have garnered broad public debate in the past weeks.
In addition to public hearings on the city’s proposed 2013-14 budget, the agenda also includes a proposal to close a portion of Washington Street as well as an ordinance granting the council the ability to utilize a special magistrate to hear code enforcement infractions.
