CARES Act applications due by April 30

The application period for the second round of Taylor County’s small business and individual assistance programs funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act will come to and end on Friday, April 30.

According to County Administrator LaWanda Pemberton, the county’s contract with Government Services Group (GSG), which is overseeing the programs, will expire on June 1. Ending the application period on April 30 will give the firm a month to complete their work evaluating all of the submitted applications.
