County has 20 positions, no applicants

Despite more than 20 open positions available in county government, local officials have not received an employment application in the past month.

That’s according to County Administrator LaWanda Pemberton, who made the announcement at the Taylor County Commission’s Tuesday, April 20, meeting during a discussion of the suspension of the state inmate work squads.
