Like most businesses in Taylor County, Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) was hit hard by the COVID-19 outbreak and the associated shutdowns in 2020.
According to DMH CFO Doug Faircloth, the hospital’s revenues in April and May of last year — the final two months of Fiscal Year 2020 for DMH and the first full months of the COVID-associated shutdowns — were down $4.1 million compared to the same two-month period the previous year.
