J.B. Wilson carded a two-under round of 70 to find himself three strokes off the lead after the first day of the Pot Williams Golf Tournament at Madison Golf & Country Club (MGCC) on Saturday, but battled back to shoot a 5-under round of 67 on Sunday to earn his way into a sudden death playoff with two other golfers.
Wilson had a chance to win the tournament in regulation, but a bogey on the 18th hole instead forced a sudden-death playoff between himself, defending champion Cole Wentworth and first-day leader Chad Smith.
