Donald Dain Cauley Sr., 50, passed away at his residence on May 8, 2021 in Eridu.
Donnie was born Dec. 26, 1970, in Bradenton to Donald Cauley and Donna Smith Craven.
Donnie and his family moved to Eridu in 1981. He was a Christian of the Baptist faith.
He was a Millwright worker with Fru-Con/Yates Construction and A-Lert Construction at the GP Cellulose mill for many years.
Donnie was a good ole country boy that enjoyed fishing and hunting, and growing his own garden at home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Cauley, and stepdaughter, Miranda Webb.
Donnie is survived by: his son, DJ Cauley; his parents, Curtis and Donna Craven; his brother, David Cauley; three sisters, Lisa Loper (John), Brenda Carmichael (Timmy) and Lee Vann (Ray); and his lifelong dear friend, Keith Aman (Marie); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Norris officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
