County seeking palmetto berry harvesters for 296 acres of public property

For the fourth year in a row, the county is seeking bidders to lease 296 acres of public land to harvest saw palmetto berries this year.

County officials are hoping for a better outcome than in years past, as the lease has generated no revenue over the past two seasons due to poor harvests.
