Portion of U.S. 19 to be dedicated in honor of state law enforcement officer Joshua Monstaad

A roadway dedication for Officer Joshua Montaad will he held Friday, June 4, at 11 a.m. on U.S. 19 in Taylor County at the Econfina River located approximately 10 miles north of Perry.

Montaad, who worked for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement, was killed in the line of duty on June 6, 2017. The 25-year-old was a resident of Pinellas County.
