Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Florida’s $101.5 billion budget on Wednesday, vetoing $1.5 billion in spending, including $1.35 billion from federal funds received under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
As for Taylor County, its sole direct allocation, $81,675 for improvements at Forest Capital Hall, survived the governor’s round of line-item vetoes.
