Teen charged in vehicle theft

A 14-year-old faces three felony charges for his involvement in a break-in and theft of two vehicles at the local Thomas Chevrolet dealership on May 31.

Nigel Rashaun Britt of Perry was arrested during the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 1, and charged with vehicle theft, burglary and criminal mischief with damage exceeding $1,000, all three of which are felony charges.
