Wildfire contained to 15 acres

Florida Forest Service (FFS), Taylor County Fire-Rescue (TCFR) and Four Rivers Land & Timber Company crews combined to contain a brush fire, saving numerous homes, vehicles and other structures Tuesday on Jody Morgan Grade.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on June 6, multiple units and personnel from the state and county firefighting agencies, as well as the private timber land company, all responded to a report of a brush fire reported near Jody Morgan and Beach Road.
