Special needs family loses everything

A family of four lost all of their belongings and a family pet after a fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damages and the total loss of their rental home on Sunday, June 13.

The City of Perry Fire Department, assisted by Taylor County Fire-Rescue, responded to the fire at approximately 5:45 p.m., finding the 119 Dove Drive residence fully engulfed in flames.
