Man arrested following desecration of U.S. flags

A man believed to be suffering from mental health issues was arrested for desecrating U.S. flags on display near the Taylor County Courthouse in honor of Flag Day (June 14).

Michael Neal Jones, 42, of Perry, was charged with desecrating or mutilating the American flag, as well as criminal mischief, on June 15.
