Parents to pitch taking over baseball

Baseball is the only youth team sport league still run by county government, but that could soon change, as a group of parents is seeking to take over and oversee the sport through a new parent-run organization.

The Taylor County Commission is expected to hear a pitch from those parents during its upcoming Tuesday, June 22, meeting.
